Vintage Clothing  

Particularly large is the museum's vintage clothing collection. This exhibit contains many kinds of garments spanning from a 1764 ladies bonnet to the shirt worn by Jim Voss in one of his space shuttle missions.

Two interesting subgroups are military uniforms(Civil War to Desert Storm) and unique ladies apparel and accessories including formal gowns, hats and purses.

Currently on display a mardi gras ball gown worn in 1958 by Mayor Barbara Patton's grandmother. It includes a septor and crown.
