Pepperell Post Office in Main Hall   

The United States Post Office operated a station convenient to the community associated with Pepperell Mills. The exhibit includes interior windows along with original post office boxes. It was constructed of polished hard wood, iron window bars and 297 brass combination boxes.

Other artifacts that go along with this exhibit is original paperwork from the United States Post Office and a number of small relics of the post master's duties.

This exhibit expresses the concern of The Museum of East Alabama in preserving the history of the Pepperell Mills area.
